Herbert Rouse is a minor character of Aaahh!!! Real Monsters. He is a scientist who is constantly in the process of inventing a serum that will restore hair to any bald surface.

Dr. Rouse is bald and he hates it. So he spends his days attempting to grow a full head of hair with his scientific talents. He is slightly unstable and often breaks into a fit of self-pitying rage if a serum doesn't prove fruitful.

Herbert is a short man who appears to be a tad chubby. His head is shaped like the number 8, his glasses and nose are dinky, and his arms are big and hairy.

- His test subjects include pigs, rats, and ants.
- When his hair tonic finally works on his scalp, he bears a similar appearance to Dr. Sy Napse.
