I Dream of Snorch with the Long Golden Hair

"I Dream of Snorch with the Long Golden Hair" is an episode of Aaahh!!! Real Monsters from season two.

Characters Present[]

Summary[]

Ickis and Krumm risk the Snorch's wrath when they steal his prized golden nose hair right from under his nose, literally.

Plot[]

Ickis and Krumm are in their room, arguing about which one of them's the most daring. Oblina, annoyed, tells them that neither of them are daring. Ickis tells her she's just saying that because she's jealous. Oblina tells Ickis she is not, and that to prove they are daring, they should do something really daring. She suggests stealing the Snorch's prized golden nose hair. Ickis and Krumm do not know she is joking and run off to snatch the hair.

In their room, the Snorch and Zimbo are getting ready to go to sleep. Ickis and Krumm spy on them as Zimbo combs the Snorch's nose hair. They go to sleep. Ickis tiptoes in and uses a pair of tweezers to take the nose hair out of the Snorch's left nostril. He puts the hair in a glass jar and runs back to his room, where Oblina will be waiting. When Ickis and Krumm come back, Oblina asks where they have been. She then asks them if they were stealing the Snorch's golden nose hair and begins laughing uncontrollably. Ickis shows her the glass jar with the hair in it.

Oblina is so shocked. She tells them that she was kidding and never thought they would actually do it. They begin thinking about how much trouble they will be in. The hair escapes the jar and begins scurrying on the floor. The three monsters run around trying to catch the nose hair. It scurries off.

The next day at school, the Gromble asks the class if they notice anything different about the Snorch. They all gasp when they see that the Snorch does not have his golden nose hair. He tells everyone that the monster academy will be shut down until the Snorch has his golden nose hair back.

The Snorch, Zimbo, and the Gromble begin a search for the hair. First, they check the room belonging to Ickis, Krumm, and Oblina. Because the hair scurried off into a different location, they can't find the hair. They walk out of the room and search Snav and Blib's room. The hair scurries under Snav's pillow. Snav tells the Snorch that he would hate it if one of his prized possessions was stolen and shows him all of his best belongings. He takes them out from under his pillow and shows the nose hair, confused.

Snav is taken to the Snorch's room where the Snorch will decide on an appropriate punishment for him. Blib yells out to him that he will prove he is innocent. Ickis, Krumm, and Oblina find out that Snav was accused and each have a dream about what will happen if they don't speak up and tell the Snorch that they stole the hair. Krumm has a dream about Snav going to court. Krumm is the jury and the Gromble is the judge. Snav is taken away, asking Krumm why he did not say anything.

Oblina has a dream about Snav popping out of every locker door in the academy and asking her "Why?". Ickis has an even worse dream, causing him to wake up and begin screaming. He wakes up his roommates. They all say they will each tell the Gromble that they stole the hair. They walk into the Gromble's room where he is sleeping. When he wakes up, he tells them that he was having a great nightmare, but they ended it. They all confess. They are brought to the Snorch, where he forces them to dance along to Scottish music he plays. The Snorch had won this fight, but the trio knew they would be allowed to study again in 10 days, or so Zimbo mentioned. But that's another episode, for another time.
