Steve was Krumm's red pimple, who developed sentience of his own. He quickly became popular with the other monsters by putting on a charming facade, but was actually cruel and abusive to Krumm when they were alone. He maintained this charade unitil Krumm's friends overheard him badmouthing them and abusing Krumm, so he freed himself from Krumm's head and left, only to find himself growing a sentient pimple of his own.
